Alexia is a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP) serving clients in need of assistance with various family law matters. Alexia has a limited license to practice law and can advise clients on a variety of different issues in their family law matters as authorized by Colorado Supreme Court Rule 207.1. Please contact Alexia directly if you have any questions as to if your matter would be appropriate for an LLP or if a licensed attorney would be required and/or would better suit your needs. Prior to obtaining her limited license to practice law Alexia spent over 10 years of working as a family law paralegal dealing with divorces, legal separations, allocation of parental responsibilities (parenting time/decision making), protection orders, paternity determination, post-decree modifications and dependency and neglect cases.
Alexia has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and previously completed the Child Family Investigator training which allows her to provide a unique insight for parents dealing with allocation of parental responsibilities issues (parenting time and decision making). Additionally, in July 2018, Alexia completed the training for Mediation Theory and Practice. Alexia offers domestic relations mediations such as dissolution of marriage, allocation of parental responsibilities, modifications of child support, maintenance. As a mediator, she helps the parties think outside the box and develop agreements that are specific to their situation and will work for their family.
